Another couple of Karl's paintings from the early to mid-1970s. These two are owned by Leo Soares.
They are done with acrylics, applied with palette knife, on canvas and are from one of Karl's favorite themes, Chessmen.
The first one does not seem to have been given a title. The second painting, which is shown in reverse in the third photo, is entitled "The King's Rook."
